I caught a pike today it had some bite marks and scale gone, I’m assuming that was a bigger pike ?

The bites are picking up been giving fish the elders ,but I caught a pike today it had some bite marks and scale gone, I’m assuming that was a bigger pike ?

    Also, do you grab them by the eye sockets?

    Pike are looking for spawning grounds right now and it’s getting pretty heated under that ice
